The GOOFISH Iceseeker is a compact, one-piece spinning rod for ice fishing and light freshwater fishing. Its Solid Nano blank, cork split grip and stainless steel guides are paired with Fast action in both available power options.
For a session over an ice hole, choose the line and lure range first: the green-wrap ML model suits the lighter range, while the blue-wrap M model provides the higher listed range. The wrap color identifies a different power rating, not simply a cosmetic choice.
Choose your power
Green wrap: ML (Medium Light), 2–6lb line, 1/32–1/4 oz lures (approximately 0.9–7g), approximately 72g rod weight.
Blue wrap: M (Medium), 4–8lb line, 1/8–3/8 oz lures (approximately 3.5–10.5g), approximately 75g rod weight.
Both models: Fast action, nominal 32-inch size and one-piece construction.
Components and construction

Handle: cork split grip with rubber-cork details.
Reel seat: FUJI.
Guides: stainless steel rings without separate ceramic inserts.

Setup and care
Use a compatible spinning reel and select line and lures within your model's listed ranges. Check for ice buildup on the guides during use. Avoid high-sticking, protect the tip during transport and let the rod dry before storage.
Do not use load-test labels to set reel drag or determine fish-lifting capacity. Set drag to suit your complete line, leader and reel setup, and use appropriate landing equipment.

Gave this reel to my son for his birthday. He has been eyeing it for some time and was very surprised to receive it as a gift. He has not used it yet but is already planning to take it on a trip this summer.
The rod arrived pretty fast and package is solid. I have not gotten a chance to use it, but I put two pieces together and put some weight on the tip of the rod to test it out. With 16 oz of weight, the rod bend a little bit and responded evenly when I pull the tip.

Great rod value, just like anything you could buy a custom rod and get a better rod but you would also spend a lot more money, I'm just getting into jigging and I've only used this once but caught a 30" gag grouper without a problem.
