Compare slow pitch jigging rods by recommended jig weight, PE line class and reel configuration. Start with the weights you normally fish, then check the exact model rather than choosing only by color or maximum jig rating.

      Compare the 6'6" color-coded models

      • Pink: PE1–2 with recommended 60–150g jigs and a maximum jig rating of 200g.
      • Yellow-Green: PE2–4 with recommended 120–250g jigs and a maximum jig rating of 350g.
      • Blue: PE3–6 with recommended 150–400g jigs and a maximum jig rating of 500g.

      Check the complete configuration

These examples have an approximately 195cm assembled length, with separate reel and construction options. Other series have their own ratings: do not transfer a color-to-specification rule from one series to another. Check spinning, standard casting or spiral-wrap availability on the individual listing, together with one-piece or butt-joint construction.

Current, drift and line angle affect jig control. A vertical jig rating does not establish a casting allowance or fish-lifting capacity, and PE class is not an exact pound-test conversion. For different presentations, compare fast jigging rods or light jigging rods.
