GOOFISH Mighty Deep 6ft Jigging Rod — PE1.5–4, Max Jig 300g
The GOOFISH Mighty Deep PE1.5–4 is a 183cm saltwater jigging rod with a Solid Nano blank, luminous pink coating and FUJI components. Choose a spinning or casting configuration in either one-piece or two-piece butt-joint construction.
When packing for an offshore session, choose your reel configuration first, then the section design that suits your transport space. The butt-joint model separates near the handle rather than at the middle of the rod.

Choose your configuration
| Configuration | Approximate weight | Transport length |
|---|---|---|
| One-piece spinning | 178g | Full rod length |
| One-piece casting | 183g | Full rod length |
| Two-piece butt-joint spinning | 193g | Approximately 132cm |
| Two-piece butt-joint casting | 198g | Approximately 132cm |
The tip diameter is approximately 2.1mm for all four configurations. Butt diameter is approximately 9mm for one-piece models and 8.5mm for butt-joint models. Spinning models list 7+1 guides; casting models list 8+1. Measurements and weights are approximate.
Pair spinning models with compatible spinning reels and trigger-grip casting models with compatible casting reels. Check the butt joint is properly seated before use and follow the joint's intended fit rather than forcing the visible gap closed.
Jig range, coating and safe handling
Choose a jig within the recommended 80–250g range to suit depth, current and technique; 300g is the maximum, not a target for every session. These ratings apply to this PE1.5–4 model and should not be replaced with another Mighty Deep model's range.
The pink coating glows after exposure to light. Appearance depends on lighting and viewing conditions, and no fixed glow duration is specified. The selectable color is Glowing Pink; green rods shown alongside pink rods are not a selectable color on this page.
Do not use static-load figures to set reel drag or determine a fish-weight limit. Use suitable landing equipment rather than lifting fish with the rod, and avoid high-sticking.
Saltwater care
Rinse salt residue away with fresh water, dry the rod before storage and inspect guide inserts, the reel seat and the butt joint before fishing. Protect the tip and guide frames during transport.
