Our Story
GOOFISH brings together fishing tackle manufacturing experience, original design, and a simple belief: fishing should be something you enjoy in your own way.
Our founder, Mr. Watanabe, is from Japan. In 2003, he established a company and factory in China focused on developing outdoor products. Fishing gear manufacturing became the foundation for building GOOFISH as a brand with its own design direction.
What GOOFISH Means
For us, “Goo” expresses the spirit of moving forward and keeping going. It is an invitation to spend time on the water, enjoy the sport, and discover what fishing means to you.

We develop fishing gear with anglers’ needs in mind. Working with experienced anglers helps us gather practical feedback, refine designs, and test products during development.
Pay attention to the details
Our approach to craftsmanship centers on care in design and manufacturing, from dimensions and finishes to color choices. Our aim is to offer thoughtfully made fishing tackle with practical value.
Keep learning and improving
Anglers’ needs and fishing techniques evolve. We use customer feedback and insights from the water to guide design updates and ongoing product development.

GOOFISHについて
GOOFISHは、釣具製造の経験と独自のデザインを生かし、一人ひとりが自分らしく釣りを楽しむことを大切にしているブランドです。
創業者の渡辺は日本出身です。2003年に中国で会社と工場を設立し、アウトドア製品の開発に取り組み始めました。釣具製造で培った経験をもとに、独自のデザインを追求するブランドとしてGOOFISHを立ち上げました。

私たちにとって「Goo」は、前へ進み続ける気持ちを表しています。水辺で過ごす時間を楽しみ、自分にとっての釣りの魅力を見つけてほしい。その思いをブランドに込めています。
