The GOOFISH Gamefish is an approximately 168cm, one-piece boat rod listed for trolling and baiting. Its 40–60lb line rating is a starting point for planning your setup, not a recommended drag setting or a fish-size guarantee.
Gamefish rod specifications
The Gamefish 168cm Trolling and Baiting Rod combines a Solid Nano and carbon blank with FUJI Turbo guides, an aluminum-alloy reel seat and an EVA-and-rubber handle. The current listing notes an updated EVA handle design, so check the current product images when ordering.
Plan your boat setup
Check reel-foot fit, line capacity and the demands of your intended presentation before assembling the outfit. A 40–60lb line rating does not establish a casting-weight or sinker-weight allowance, and it should not be used to calculate a universal reel-drag setting.
Allow transport space for the full one-piece length. Inspect the guides and reel-seat fittings before use, rinse away saltwater residue after fishing and let the rod dry before storage. Avoid high-sticking and use suitable equipment to land fish.
