GOOFISH Orange Micro Jigging Rod — 6'6" (195cm), 20–100g
The GOOFISH Orange Micro is a light slow pitch jigging rod for working smaller metal jigs in coastal water. It pairs a Solid Nano blank with FUJI K guides and Alconite rings, a FUJI reel seat, a bright orange finish and camouflage EVA grips.
For your next boat session, match your jig to the recommended 20–100g range, then choose Spinning or Casting (Overhead) and the construction that suits your transport space. All four configurations assemble to approximately 195cm.

Measurements and weights are approximate. The butt-joint option is named 1.5 Piece in the selector; it separates into an upper section and a handle section near the reel seat, rather than at the middle of the rod.
Spinning or casting
Choose Spinning for a compatible spinning reel or Casting (Overhead) for a compatible overhead reel. Match the reel-seat and guide configuration to your reel; the two rod types are not interchangeable. Both constructions share the recommended 20–100g jig range.
One piece or butt joint
The one-piece model needs transport space for the full approximately 195cm rod. The butt-joint model packs to approximately 140cm and is slightly heavier in the corresponding reel configuration. Measure your rod case and storage space before choosing.
For butt-joint assembly, align the sections and seat the joint according to its intended fit, leaving the reserved 1–2cm gap. Do not force the sections flush or pull on guide frames when separating them.
On the water
Work lighter jigs with controlled lifts, pauses and falls. Choose within the recommended 20–100g range according to current, depth and lure control; no separate maximum jig rating is specified here. Freshwater applications include trout and bass, with tackle and presentation matched to the conditions.
Care and handling
Do not use load-test labels or lifting demonstrations to set reel drag or determine fish-lifting capacity. Match your line, leader and reel as a complete setup. Avoid high-sticking and use appropriate landing equipment instead of lifting fish with the rod. Rinse away saltwater residue, allow the rod to dry before storage and inspect guides, the reel seat and any butt joint before use.

Had a great day off the coast of NC. This wahoo was a great prize. He hit my free line, which had a cigar minnow on it. Take a day or two off and go fishing.
Store owner replied:
What a fish — that's a serious trophy wahoo! 🎣 Huge congrats. You can't beat a free-lined cigar minnow; it's hands down one of the deadliest presentations for wahoo off the NC coast, and it sounds like it worked perfectly.
Couldn't agree more about taking a couple of days off to get offshore — there's nothing better. Next time you head out, keep a Goofish jigging rod rigged and ready as a backup; when the free line goes quiet, dropping a jig and burning it back is a great way to tempt another one up, and the Goofish backbone handles that kind of fight beautifully.
Thanks for sharing the catch — we'd love to see photos from your next trip. Tight lines out there!
Store owner replied:

First few drops and hooked up with a 50+ lb amberjack....definitely tested the drag. I can't wait to get it out again this weekend. I have 4 Goofish rods total and have had great experiences with them all.
Store owner replied:

La caña está de maravilla se maneja muy bien y tiene buen peso ,este combo de caña y carrete está perfecto para esta pesca de inshore pero pienso que también funciona para pesca de offshore solo cambiar el carrete por uno con más drag
Took advantage of the BOGO deal. My son took the silver and blue reel and the black and gold reel went to me. He is going to teach me to slow jig this summer and I'm looking forward to it. Love how fishing keeps me in the loop with my boys!! Thanks GooFish!!
Gave this reel to my son for his birthday. He has been eyeing it for some time and was very surprised to receive it as a gift. He has not used it yet but is already planning to take it on a trip this summer.
The rod arrived pretty fast and package is solid. I have not gotten a chance to use it, but I put two pieces together and put some weight on the tip of the rod to test it out. With 16 oz of weight, the rod bend a little bit and responded evenly when I pull the tip.
Thanks I’m really excited. Yes, very incredible fishing rods and reels. You guys have to offer super incredible. I fish hard I fish a lot. I fish deep I catch monsters truly.
Great rod value, just like anything you could buy a custom rod and get a better rod but you would also spend a lot more money, I'm just getting into jigging and I've only used this once but caught a 30" gag grouper without a problem.
I’m a captain in Alabama and love the rods and prices. Want to buy a few more for clients and get some swag to show off because my clients like the pretty colors of the rods. Check me out on instagram and Facebook at Endgame Fishing.
Quality looks good. The 20kg drop test makes me confident it has the power to land big fish. I will get a chance to test it out in July on a fishing trip to San Felipe.
