Goofish Fast/Speed Jigging Rod Blank (Mix 3 Different Types in Your Cart)

The GOOFISH fast jigging rod blank is a one-piece starting point for a custom speed-jigging rod. The current option is labeled 5ft 5in, PE3–6 and maximum jig 500g. This listing supplies a rod blank rather than a completed rod.

Listed specifications

• Nominal size: 5ft 5in.
• Construction: one piece.
• PE class: PE3–6.
• Maximum jig rating: 500g.
• Finish: black coating.

IGFA record catch

A rod built on this blank was used to land a 283lb fish for an IGFA record.

This catch achievement is not a 283lb lifting rating, a recommended drag setting or a guarantee of future catches.

Plan your custom build

Confirm the actual length, tip and butt diameters, blank weight and recommended working jig range before choosing guides, grips and a reel seat. The maximum jig rating is an upper label, not a recommendation to use 500g in every depth or current.

The black coating can be used as the starting finish for your design. Confirm coating compatibility before applying a different finish. Do not copy finished-rod component sizes, guide counts or weights onto this bare blank.

Handling and setup

Allow transport space for the full one-piece length and protect the tip. PE class and maximum jig weight do not establish reel-drag settings, fish-weight limits or lifting capacity. Use appropriate landing equipment with the completed rod rather than lifting fish with it.
