GOOFISH Solid Nano Slow Pitch Jigging Rod — 6'6" (195cm)
This GOOFISH slow pitch jigging rod combines a Solid Nano blank, FUJI components and camouflage grips with three color-coded specifications. Pink, Green and Blue are different PE and jig-weight models, not simply different finishes of the same rod.
For your next boat session, start with the jig weight and line class you plan to use, then choose the reel configuration and construction. All three colors have an assembled length of approximately 195cm, with one-piece or two-piece butt-joint options.
Compare the three colors
| Specification | Pink | Green (Yellow-Green) | Blue |
|---|---|---|---|
| PE line class | PE1–2 | PE2–4 | PE3–6 |
| Recommended jig range | 60–150g | 120–250g | 150–400g |
| Maximum jig weight | 200g | 350g | 500g |
| Approximate spinning rod weight | 169g | 178g | 205g |
| Approximate casting rod weight | 171g | 195g | 215g |
| Tip diameter | 1.7mm | 1.95mm | 2.4mm |
| One-piece butt diameter | 9.0mm | 9.5mm | 10.4mm |
| Butt-joint model butt diameter | 10.4mm | 11.6mm | 12.6mm |
Dimensions and weights are approximate. The listed weights apply to both section options; casting weights include the straight and spiral-guide configurations. PE is a line-sizing class, not an exact pound-test conversion.
Pink: the lightest jig range
Choose Pink for PE1–2 setups and jigs in the recommended 60–150g range. It has the lowest rod weight and smallest tip diameter in this three-color lineup. Its 200g maximum is an upper rating, not the preferred jig weight for every session. Pink is the lighter-range choice when your conditions allow you to maintain control with lighter jigs.
Green: the middle jig range
The Green option has a yellow-green finish, a PE2–4 line class and a recommended 120–250g jig range, with a 350g maximum. It sits between Pink and Blue in jig range, tip diameter and rod weight. Choose it when your intended setup calls for the middle range rather than selecting the color alone.
Blue: the heavier jig range
Blue is rated PE3–6, with a recommended 150–400g jig range and a 500g maximum. It has the largest tip diameter and highest rod weight of the three colors. Choose it when your conditions and technique require the heavier listed jig range; this does not establish a guaranteed fishing depth, fish size or reel-drag setting.
One-piece or two-piece butt joint
- One piece: approximately 195cm transport length, requiring space for the full rod.
- Two-piece butt joint: separates near the handle, with an approximately 140cm packed length. It is not a mid-section travel rod.
- Both options assemble to approximately 195cm.
For butt-joint models, align the sections and seat the connection according to its intended fit, leaving the reserved 1–2cm gap. Do not force the joint flush or pull on guide frames when separating the sections.
Choose the guide layout for your reel
- Spinning: straight guides for a compatible spinning reel, with 7+1 guides.
- Casting Straight Guide: compatible casting configuration, with 9+1 guides.
- Casting Left Spiral Guide: for right-handle reels, with 9+1 guides.
- Casting Right Spiral Guide: for left-handle reels, with 9+1 guides.
Spiral direction describes the guides, not the reel-handle side. Match the complete option name to your reel before ordering. Spinning and casting configurations are not interchangeable.
Shared components and fishing use
All three colors use GOOFISH Solid Nano blanks, FUJI guides with Alconite inserts, FUJI reel seats and color-matched camouflage grips. The series is intended for slow pitch jigging, with freshwater and saltwater applications. Adjust your jig weight and retrieve to depth, current and lure control while staying within the selected color's ratings.
Compare alternatives in the slow pitch jigging rod collection, or browse fishing jigs and match the jig weight to your selected model.
Safe handling and care
Static deadlift demonstrations are not recommended reel-drag settings or fish-lifting limits. Set drag for the complete line, leader and reel system. Avoid high-sticking and use suitable landing equipment instead of lifting fish with the rod. Rinse saltwater residue away with fresh water, dry before storage, and inspect guide inserts, the reel seat and any butt joint before use.
