The GOOFISH Monster Deep PE4–7 combines a Solid Nano blank with FUJI K-series guides, Alconite inserts and a FUJI reel seat. This approximately 213cm saltwater jigging rod has a two-piece butt-joint design, a Chameleon finish and dark blue EVA grips.
Choose the configuration to match your reel and regular jig weights before your next boat session. The recommended jig range is 200–600g, with a maximum of 700g. The approximately 159cm packed length reduces transport length without turning the rod into a short-section travel outfit.

Choose your reel configuration
Spinning: for a compatible spinning reel.
Standard casting: trigger-style reel seat with a straight guide layout.
Left spiral-wrap casting: for right-handle reels.
Right spiral-wrap casting: for left-handle reels.
Spiral-wrap direction refers to the guide layout, not the reel-handle side. Check the complete variant name before ordering. Spinning and casting configurations are not interchangeable.
Jig weight and line class
Match your regular jigs to the recommended 200–600g range. Current, drift, jig shape and line resistance affect practical presentation; the 700g maximum is a separate upper rating rather than the ideal weight for every situation. Do not automatically interpret jigging guidance as a casting-weight allowance.
Browse the fishing jigs collection and check each selected jig's actual weight against this rod's recommended range before purchasing.
If your regular jigs exceed this model's 700g maximum, compare the Monster Deep PE5–8, max 1000g jigging rod, which recommends 300–800g jigs. Its different line class and configuration specifications should be checked against your complete outfit.
PE4–7 is a line-sizing class, not 4–7lb test. Check the actual braid's diameter and stated strength along with reel capacity, leader and connections. No universal pound-test or drag conversion is established by the PE numbers.
Butt-joint assembly and care
The upper section separates near the handle for transport. Align the sections and seat the joint according to its intended fit, leaving the designed gap of approximately 1.5–2cm. Do not force the sections flush or use guide frames as handles when separating them.
Do not use a bend-test weight or deadlift figure to set reel drag or determine how heavy a fish you can lift with the rod. Avoid high-sticking and use suitable landing equipment.
Inspect guide inserts, the joint and reel-seat locking hardware before fishing. Rinse saltwater residue away with fresh water, allow the rod to dry and protect its tip during storage and transport.

Gave this reel to my son for his birthday. He has been eyeing it for some time and was very surprised to receive it as a gift. He has not used it yet but is already planning to take it on a trip this summer.
The rod arrived pretty fast and package is solid. I have not gotten a chance to use it, but I put two pieces together and put some weight on the tip of the rod to test it out. With 16 oz of weight, the rod bend a little bit and responded evenly when I pull the tip.

Great rod value, just like anything you could buy a custom rod and get a better rod but you would also spend a lot more money, I'm just getting into jigging and I've only used this once but caught a 30" gag grouper without a problem.
