The GOOFISH Titan Surge S8102 is a two-piece saltwater popping spinning rod with a carbon fiber body and Solid Nano tip. FUJI K-frame guides with A rings, a FUJI reel seat and an extended black EVA handle complete the green-and-orange design.

Guide layout and transport
The two larger guides near the handle have an inverted orientation. Use a compatible spinning reel and check that your line runs cleanly through the full guide layout before fishing.
The extended EVA handle provides room for a two-handed grip when casting and working lures. The two-piece construction packs to approximately 139cm; measure your case and storage space before planning transport.
Match your lure and line
Select a lure within the stated 60–200g range and adjust your presentation to water movement, wind and lure control. The 30–60lb line range is a setup rating, not a reel-drag recommendation. Match the complete reel, braid, leader and connection system rather than choosing tackle from one specification alone.
Safe handling and care
Static deadlift figures and bend demonstrations do not establish recommended fishing drag or fish-lifting capacity. The 500g loads shown in bend demonstrations are test loads, not an extension of the 60–200g lure range. Use appropriate landing equipment, avoid high-sticking and protect the tip during handling.
Before fishing, seat the section joint securely and align the guides. Check the connection periodically during use. Inspect guide inserts and the reel seat, rinse away saltwater residue with fresh water and allow the rod to dry before storage.

Had a great day off the coast of NC. This wahoo was a great prize. He hit my free line, which had a cigar minnow on it. Take a day or two off and go fishing.

Gave this reel to my son for his birthday. He has been eyeing it for some time and was very surprised to receive it as a gift. He has not used it yet but is already planning to take it on a trip this summer.
The rod arrived pretty fast and package is solid. I have not gotten a chance to use it, but I put two pieces together and put some weight on the tip of the rod to test it out. With 16 oz of weight, the rod bend a little bit and responded evenly when I pull the tip.

Great rod value, just like anything you could buy a custom rod and get a better rod but you would also spend a lot more money, I'm just getting into jigging and I've only used this once but caught a 30" gag grouper without a problem.
